History

Historical research points to the existence of Grotto Figini since the beginning of the 20th century.

Giovanni Lucchini came into possession in 1952 and Grotto Figini became a place where he sold and enjoyed the fine wines he produced and where it was also possible to enjoy food cooked over charcoal.

We work from the heart, with the aim of making you feel at home and giving you a unique experience of simplicity and good old-fashioned flavours.

Manager and Chef

Our mission is to be a typical Ticino grotto and to allow our customers to savour the true food and wine essence of our region.

We have known each other and worked together in perfect harmony since 2017.

Seasonally, we have successfully managed the Grotto dei Pescatori in Caprino. In 2019, we have decided to embark on a new professional challenge at Grotto Figini, as we wish to be available to our valued customers all year round.
